Christopher Fairbank grew up in upstate New York and was adopted at the age of 5 into the Fairbank family with 6 other siblings. Christopher found his passion for ballet dancing at the age of 11.
After a serious car accident at the age of 12, he was unable to walk for 8 weeks. He had been told that he would not be able to walk again, let alone dance again. With hard work, vision, and determination, Christopher was up and walking and back in the ballet studio eight weeks after the accident. He not only became a professional ballet dancer but also danced all over the world. He was a soloist and principal dancer and rose to the ranks of première danseur. He danced for three consecutive presidents of the United States of America and went on to win a gold medal at an international ballet competition.
Christopher is an expert at communications in all its nuanced forms, from delivering speeches at public events to helping create new communication deliverables for any organization. He created a process he calls “reshape the box of business”. This process teaches business leaders how to implement strategies that define/implement forward-thinking and new perspectives that will benefit business leaders students and organizations. One of the main areas he focuses on is communication while creating and developing cultural leadership within organizations. He accomplishes this by helping businesses focus on three key areas: how to develop employees, how to retain employees, and how to innovate to stay relevant.
Christopher speaks at conferences and conducts workshops of all sizes. He trains conference attendees, workshop goers, business leaders, and students on how to best communicate and create positive change in our communities. Christopher retired from dancing in 2012 and went on to attend the Bexar County Sheriff’s Police Academy, where he graduated with honors and received the Peer Professionalism Award. Christopher inspires and highly motivates audiences with his inspirational stories of transitioning from being a ballet dancer, to a police officer, to The Dare to be Different Speaker and Business Leadership Strategist Coach.
